Clinics, Courses, and Events

In an effort to support the campus community in their outdoor endeavors, SOLE hosts a variety of educational clinics. These clinics are focus on skill and knowledge acquisition in the areas of bicycling, climbing, ski/snowboard maintenance, widlerness skills, and more. Clinics are open to students, faculty, staff, alumni, friends and family. Register on the Campus Recreation Portal - just show up ready to learn, ask questions and meet fellow outdoor enthusiasts! Types of Clinics, Courses, and Events

Socials: Ladies Climb Nights, SOLE Socials- a great time to come and meet other climbers or try out a new hobby! All ability levels are welcome! The orientation fee will be waived on the nights of these events, and all equipment is provided. 
Frequency: 2-3 times per semester

Classes: Paracord Bracelet Making, Knots and Hitches, Compass Skills, Orienteering, Learn to Climb, Learn to Belay, Intro to Mountain Biking, How to Wax Skis and Snowboards, and more! Make sure to register on the portal to secure your spot!

Events: NOLS Wilderness First Aid (once a semester & is ~$300 depending on when you register), Water Wonderland (aqualining, key log roll, slide, and FUN), and more!
