Personal Training
During a fitness assessment, one of our personal trainers will assess you based on the 5 components of fitness: cardiovascular endurance, body composition, muscular endurance, muscular strength and flexibility. Results obtained from the fitness assessment provide a helpful measure of your current fitness level and serve as a baseline to design an individualized exercise program based on personal health and fitness goals. Regular assessments are a great way to track progress over time. Our personal training team will compare your results to peers in your age group, using guidelines established by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). Fitness assessments are approximately 45-60 minutes in length. You also receive a complimentary fitness assessment with the purchase of a personal training package.
Sessions are available in packages of 1-18 (see package pricing below). A complimentary fitness assessment and body composition analysis are included in all personal training packages. Personal training sessions are 60 minutes in length.
Our Personal and Partner Training services are available to all currently enrolled students and those with an active Campus Recreation Membership.

For new clients only: All packages include a free 1-hour session, including a fitness assessment, body composition analysis, and goal setting.
Packages must be purchased at the Guest Services Desk and may only be purchased after the HHQ is completed and the fitness team has scheduled your free session. All purchases must be completed before the first session.
For returning clients: All package pricing is the same. There is no additional body composition or fitness assessment included. Body compositions and fitness assessments can be purchased separately.
To register for personal training services, please fill out the Health History Questionnaire (HHQ). Once this form is received, you will be matched with the personal trainer who best suits your needs within 5-7 business days.

Training sessions may be purchased online or at the front desk. Sessions must be purchased before the initial consultation appointment. You may purchase sessions online by visiting our registration site at campusrec.uccs.edu.
