Pre-Practicum, Practicum, Counseling and Social Work Internships and Information

UCCS Clyde

We accept applications for Psychology and Counseling Practicum, as well as Counseling and Social Work Internships, with interviews held twice a year. Interviews take place during the first two weeks after the deadline, and results are announced by the third week of November (fall) or April (spring).

Mandatory training for the Fall 2025 semester begins on August 11th, 2025. Mandatory training for the Spring 2026 semester begins on January 6, 2026. Mandatory Training consists of an orientation that is from Monday- Friday from 9:00 am- 4:00 pm for one week.

Submission deadlines are:

  • Fall 2025: April 4, 2025, by 5:00 p.m. MST
  • Spring 2026: November 1, 2025, by 5:00 p.m. MST

The interviews will be held the first two weeks following the deadline, and the results will be announced no later than the third week of April 2025. Mandatory Training begins August 2025 for Fall 2025. For Psychology Internship applications we follow APPIC schedule for application submission.
