Dean of Students (DOS)
The Office of the Dean of Students maintains and administers the University Student Code of Conduct, serves as a student advocate, provides assistance to students in crisis, and supports students by directing services and programs that enhance students' education and provide life-enriching experiences.
Campus Police (DPS)
The UCCS Police Department serves UCCS community by protecting life, liberty, property, and defending the constitutional rights of all people with compassion, fairness, integrity, and professionalism.
Disability Services
Disability Services provides leadership to the University by facilitating access to all institutional opportunities for students with documented disabilities, temporary medical and pregnancy-related conditions through accommodations and individual services in line with the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act (ADAAA) and other current legislation.
Students needing to request accommodations due to a medical condition or disability should place an Application for Accommodations.
MOSAIC
The MOSAIC Office, established in 2003, is a place for students to learn, grow, and find community! The office includes multicultural programs, the First2Go program, international student and scholar services, education abroad, and the LGBTQ+ resource center. MOSAIC collaborates with students in advancing equity at UCCS. All UCCS students can expect ongoing events, programs, trainings and workshops, leadership development, intentionally designed resources, and active advising from the full-time staff.
Office of Institutional Equity (OIE)
Office of Institutional Equity provides the UCCS community services and resources around sexual misconduct, discrimination and harassment on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, creed, religion, veteran status, marital status, political affiliation, political philosophy, pregnancy or related conditions, sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression.
Veteran and Military Affairs (VMA)
Veteran and Military Affairs Division offers transition assistance through educational benefits counseling, community engagement, and academic support. The McCord-Herbst Student Veteran Center, staffed entirely by military-affiliated personnel, features a comfortable lounge, study areas, and the USAA Workforce Computer Lab, fostering connection and relaxation. We recognize the unique challenges of military life and are committed to helping you achieve your academic and career goals.
