Provide individual/couples/group therapy and assessment to the UCCS Community. Additionally, I provide training and supervision to practicum students and interns, and provide psychoeducational services as needed to the campus community. 

For as long as I can remember, I have been interested in how people compensate for their weaknesses. I am fascinated with our ability to learn and to grow from our present circumstances and succeed when statistically we should be "slowed down." I have has the opportunity to help people realize this potential, or have observed their potential in action. This has led to a continual motivation to not only understand myself more, but also a passion for helping others pursue their values despite what life may throw their way.

With that in mind, I look forward to helping with difficulties that one might be facing as they journey through college. This can include, but is not limited to, adjustment issues, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, neurodevelopmental disorders (including ADHD, learning disabilities), test anxiety, clarifying purpose and understanding life goals, etc...

Not only am I excited to work with an amazing team at the Wellness Center, I look forward to serving the UCCS community as they journey through this important developmental milestone. 

First of all, I love doing life with my amazing wife. Additionally, I enjoy doing the "typical" Colorado things of hiking and recently picked up mountain biking.  Research was a chore during school for me, but I have found that I enjoy discovering more about various topics and continuing my learning. Lastly, I enjoy "suffering" through the joys of watching my favorite sports teams.
