Opioid Overdose Response Training

UCCS Wellness Promotion hosts frequent trainings via in-person trainings and talbing to inform the campus community on the dangers of opioids and how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose. Those that attend or stop by the tabling events can request free naloxone (Narcan) kit and fentanyl testing strips.  Check Mountain Lion Connect for trainings and informational tailings:  https://mlc.uccs.edu/organization/wellnesscenter

Opioid Overdose Response trainings can also be requested for classes, club, departments, etc via our Presentation Request Form.

The PEAK Wellness Box Project is designed to support student wellbeing by providing small, curated boxes designed to support different aspects of student health and wellbeing. Each box includes helpful resources, educational information, and practical items to support healthy habits during college.

Students can request a Wellness Box for themselves or to support a friend. Supplies are limited and boxes are intended to help students explore simple strategies that support overall wellness.

Available to currently enrolled UCCS students while quantities last.

Project generously supported by funding from the UCCS Student Government Association.
