Pre-Practicum, Practicum, Counseling and Social Work Internships and Information

We accept applications for Psychology and Counseling Practicum, as well as Counseling and Social Work Internships, with interviews held twice a year. Interviews take place during the first two weeks after the deadline, and results are announced by the third week of November (fall) or April (spring).

Mandatory training for the Fall 2026 semester will be August 17th-August 21st. Mandatory training for the Spring 2027 semester will be from January 12th-January16th. Mandatory Training consists of an orientation that is from Monday- Friday from 9:00 am- 4:00 pm for one week.

Submission deadlines are:

  • Fall 2026: April 4, 2026, by 5:00 p.m. MST
  • Spring 2027: November 1, 2026, by 5:00 p.m. MST

The interviews will be held the first two weeks following the deadline, and the results will be announced no later than the third week of April. Mandatory Training begins August for Fall and January for Spring. For Psychology Internship applications we follow APPIC schedule for application submission.
