Join the Fitness Team

Want to join the fitness team but don't have your instructor of personal trainer certification?

The Campus Recreation Fitness Team offers the ACE Instructor Certification Course and the ACE Personal Trainer Certification Course throughout the year. After obtaining your certification, if you have interest in working at Campus Recreation, the Fitness Coordinator will provide you the opportunity to interview with our team. Certification Courses

ACE Instructor Certification Course

Are you someone who LOVES fitness? Turn your passion into a career! This certification course will prepare you to take your ACE Certified Group Fitness Exam. This course is led by our Program Director of Fitness and Fitness Program Assistant(s). This course will prepare you to get a certification accredited by the NCCA, the gold standard for program accreditation in fitness and health. With the completion of this course, you are guaranteed an interview for a Group Fitness Instructor position at UCCS Campus Recreation. Hiring is based on need and time of year.
