What are the possibilities of Campus Recreation facilities closing? When and why?Future Closings
This COVID-19 pandemic and its impact is constantly evolving. We are hopeful that we will not need to close our facilities due to the pandemic, and have adopted numerous protocols and procedures in order to create a safe and healthy environment for recreation participation. The State of Colorado Governor’s Office, El Paso County Health Department, or UCCS may mandate a closure, and in those situations we would need to respond appropriately.
In the situation of a widespread outbreak within our facilities, we may need to close our facilities for a brief period to perform a deep cleaning, but would reopen our facilities as soon as it would be responsibly safe to occur. Let’s all do our part in following our health and safety guidelines so that we can continue to enjoy our recreation!
